In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), we describe the information that we collect about you when you use our website (the “Site”), and use the services on our Site (collectively, “Services”). We collect information, including personal information, directly from you as you use our Site and our Services.
Information We Collect Directly From You. When you register to participate the events and/or make reservations, we will need your information such as name on your passport, gender, date of birth, address, telephone number, marathon time, T-shirt size etc. in order to register you to the marathons and other sports events. When you request information from us, subscribe to our newsletter or blog, or otherwise use our Services, we may collect your name, email address, contact information, cell phone model, or any other information that you choose to provide to us. From time to time, you may have the option to participate in surveys; if you choose to do so, we will collect information about you.
Information We Collect Automatically. We may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect information about you. We collect the following information about your use of our Services via these technologies: your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; your interaction with the Site; length of time you are logged in to our Site; and websites visited before our Site. We use your information, including your personal information, primarily to provide our Services to you including but not limited to events registration, to respond to your inquiries, and to notify you of items that we believe would be of interest to you. We and our third party service providers use cookies, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs, and similar technologies to track user activity and collect website data. We may combine this data with the personal information we have collected from you.

We and our third party service providers use “cookies” on our Site to better serve you with tailored information and facilitate your ongoing access to use the Application. Disabling Cookies. For our website, most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer you can edit your browser options to block them in future. Web Beacons, Pixel Tags and Other Technologies. We may use web beacons, such as clear GIFs, web bugs or pixel tags, which are tiny graphics with a unique identifier similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages. We may use clear GIFs in connection with our Site to, among other things, track the activities of website visitors, help us manage content, and compile statistics about website usage. We and our third party service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML e-mails to our customers, to help us track e-mail response rates, measure the success of our marketing campaigns, identify when our e-mails are viewed and track whether our e-mails are forwarded.

As noted, we work with third party service providers who use the technologies described in this section to conduct website analytics to help us track and understand how visitors use our Site and our Application. For example, we use a variety of third party web analytics, to help us improve our Site and our Application’s performance and user experiences.
Third party applications may be available on our Site. The owners or providers of those third party applications may collect information from you. Their collection of information is bound by their own information collection policies and practices. We are not responsible for the collection and use of your information by third parties.
Our Site contains links to third parties. Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Policy, but, instead, is governed by the privacy policies of those third party websites, and we are not responsible for the information practices of such third party websites.
We have implemented commercially reasonable precautions to protect our Site and the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No data security measures can guarantee 100% security at all times.
You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, computer, and web-enabled devices, among other things, by signing off after using a shared computer, inserting a password on your web-enabled device, choosing a password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your password private. You should never share your log-in information with others. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or compromised passwords, or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
We may send you promotional emails. If you do not wish to receive promotional emails, please opt-out using the link in the email. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us, we still may send you e-mails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us, or for other customer services purposes.
